Quail Forever Chapters
When Pheasants Forever unleashed Quail Forever, the Board of Directors believed the simple and yet revolutionary concept that separated Pheasants Forever from any other conservation organizations would work for another non-migratory bird, the Bobwhite quail. Quail Forever will use the same system of county chapters whereby 100% of the net funds raised by chapters remains at the local level. This provides tremendous incentive to raise money because people can see the direct results of their contributions.
Each Quail Forever chapter maintains local control over its funds and establishes its own habitat and education programs, customized to meet the needs of and to benefit the local area.
Quail Forever, is in its first couple of months and has shown great promise with chapters starting up across the country. One of the primary benefits of belonging to Quail Forever is the opportunity for camaraderie with other people concerned about maintaining and rebuilding the proper habitat for quail and other wildlife in your area.
Join an Existing Chapter
When you join an existing Quail Forever chapter, you have the opportunity to establish wildlife habitat in your area, attend meetings and participate in fundraising activities.
Quail Forever chapter members are a diversified group of hunters, non-hunters, farmers, landowners, conservation enthusiasts and wildlife officials. Chapters usually meet once a month to socialize about hunting, dogs and other common interests - as well as to discuss fundraising events, habitat restoration projects and conservation issues.
The most successful fundraising event for Quail Forever chapters is the annual banquet, which features a lively evening of dinner and raffles and auctions for guns, art work, pheasant-related gift items and clothing. Other popular fundraising ideas include wild game dinners, golf tournaments, dog training seminars and shooting events.
For information on joining an existing Quail Forever chapter, please contact us with your name, county, state and your mailing address!
Organize a New Chapter
If you live in an area where there is no Pheasants Forever chapter and you are interested in forming one, consider the following steps normally taken:
- Contact the Quail Forever National Office for the name of your PF Regional Wildlife Biologist or find your local QF RWB here
- After talking with your Regional Wildlife Biologist, set a meeting date with you and your friends interested in forming a chapter.
- At the meeting, your interested group will elect officers, sign a Chapter Charter Agreement, set a date for your first Annual Banquet and discuss initial ideas for habitat improvement in your area.
